INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING STANDARD (IELTS):
IELTS are the worldwide standard of testing your English language capabilities and as the UK’s primary language, it is one of many entry requirements and it is vital to take this exam whilst applying. Most universities expect a 5.5-point score as a minimum however this varies across universities and this minimum may be higher.
Exams and Criteria (graded out of 8.0 points):
Listening – 40 mins
Reading & Writing – 120 mins
Speaking – 11-14 mins

ADMISSION SUBMISSION:
Choosing a university is a difficult decision with long-term implications which necessitates a considerable amount of administration. We serve as a dedicated liaison between yourself and your chosen university, sending documents to and engaging with the university, finding out what is required of you and providing updates on the process of your application.
VISA APPLICATION:
From 5th October 2020, there have been alterations to the categories for visa applicants wherein ‘Tier 4 (General)’ leave has become ‘Student’ permission and ‘Tier 4 (Child)’ leave has become ‘Child Student’ permission. The ‘Student’ route and ‘Short-term Student’ categories are specifically aimed at students. The ‘Student Visa’ route is a points-based system applicable for all international students who wish to study in the UK however can only be issued for certain courses. To apply you must first receive a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) from your university or college (‘student sponsor’).
With various time restraints and evidentiary requirements, the UK immigration system may seem complex, we can refer you to an associate immigration law firm to assist with your application. To ensure competency and legitimacy, lawyers and advisors must be authorised to provide immigration advice by a designated professional body or regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).
